I've always kind of just attributed it to the fact that, you know, writing a good joke kind of has the same takes, the same type of skill and like timing and setup and whatnot of of a good, you know, joke versus a scare.

But yeah, in the interviews they talked about how they wanted to make a film about connections and specifically connections within that kind of Gen Z, like the younger generation nowadays, how everything is online and, you know, it's a culture that's obsessed with getting attention, whether or not that attention is good or bad, but also how getting attention, how that connects and also kind of contrasts with wanting to connect or fit in.
